1 Corinthians 13:11-12
"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."

singular is daily
commonplace to be contrast
mundane was miraculous
tedium was important
i would singlehandedly disprove the scientific method
repeating the same thing, hoping to yield different results
i would live so i could write the greatest book in the whole world
i would be lucky instead of invisible,
noticed because i was different,
offering a unique contribution
one immortalized by its novelty,
signified by the revolution it could incite
a singular story, breathed in
and out in a regular exhalation
timed
like the methodical beat of the heart
life sustained by the collection of the ordinary
uncomfortable with the familiarity of the present
forward-looking to the newness of the unknown
the potential fulfillment of dreams,
which are strangely similar to every other waking hour
disillusioned with the imposed limits of imagination
the length of the journey and the accessibility of a goal
every day is alive
every beauty is common
every person is human
pain is as old as Earth
existing with time
fading with time
and the only thing remarkable is this consistency
